Patton Leads America’s Most Wanted Racing To Texas

Stepping off the plane Wednesday evening, JR Patton was all smiles knowing that the #63 America’s Most Wanted Racing team is holding a great hand for the Sam’s Town 400 at the Texas Motor Speedway.

“The guys in the shop have been working hard to get this truck ready.” said team owner Mike Mittler.  “We have performed well here over the years and have prepared a very good game plan for this weekend.”

“My last time here our truck was strong and we were doing very well.” said JR Patton.  “We moved our way into the top 10 midway thru the race but we were swept up in an accident going into turn four that ended our day.  My spotter told me to get down the track.  As I slowed and avoided the multi truck wreck, another competitor ran over me from behind while running wide open exiting turn four.  That was the hardest hit I ever have taken.  Thankfully the Safety Crews were to everyone fast and we all checked out OK.  We packed what was left of the truck into a box and headed back to Charlotte.”

Patton went on to say, “Texas is a great track.  It is very fast and will make for some exciting racing on Friday.  Provided we execute our game plan and work strong as a team… we will have a great weekend.  I feel very confident that we will do well in this race”

Dave Porter Truck Sales is the primary sponsor of America’s Most Wanted Racing and has played a major role in supporting the #63 race program over the years.  Teaming up with Dave Porter is Shetler Ford and Mittler Brothers Machine and Tool.

“Together with our sponsors, we are asking for your help in locating Jesus Martinez Alvarado from Houston, Texas!” Patton exclaimed.

Jesus Martinez Alvarado
MISSING: Houston police suspect a husband is involved in the murder of his wife, Rocio, and the kidnapping of her son, Jesus. Authorities said they received a call from a relative asking police to check on the welfare of the mother on October 20th, 2004. But, when she wasn't at the location given, they went to her husband's apartment.

There, officials say they found her dead. According to police, Pedro Vargas, the husband's roommate, found Rocio Alvarado dead under the covers of his roommate's bed. Avelino Alvarado is now on the run and police believe the 4-year-old, Jesus, is with him.

The Sam’s Town 400 at Texas Motor Speedway will air live on SPEED, MRN, XM at 9 PM ET.
